KANSAS CITY, Mo. —The Kansas City, Missouri Health Department said five businesses were closed for violating the city’s new COVID-19 restrictions.
Health officials said the COVID-19 enforcement team visited 61 businesses over the weekend to monitor compliance with the mayor’s order, checking crowd size, mask-wearing, social distancing and whether the bars and restaurants were closing by 10 p.m. as required.
